The automotive industry generally works towards minimising the environmental impact of its products and as a sub-contractor it goes without saying that we share this goal. The company has obtained ISO 14001 certification and in our production process we continually strive to reduce the environmental impact.

Our operations are entirely built on recycling and thus the optimisation of resources such as light metals that are expensive and energy intensive to produce. We are convinced that demand for remanufactured vehicle components will increase in line with the end consumers’ growing environmental awareness.

Extract from the company’s environmental policy:

One of our company’s primary goals is to attempt at all times to minimise our direct impact on the environment. We do not use materials and products that have a high environmental load but opt for suppliers who offer products with less environmental impact. The fact that our work involves remanufacturing means that our operations have a positive impact on the environment. We re-use light metals and other components that require a great deal of energy to produce.

Despite this explicit goal, it is impossible to totally avoid working with products that can be harmful to the environment if not handled in the correct way. We therefore continually work towards minimising the risk of emissions related to our operations. This means that we always take account of such risks when, for example, purchasing equipment and designing our work procedures.

We dispose of harmful materials such as waste oil and heavy metals in an environmentally friendly way. Components that are not fit for re-use in our own operations are sent elsewhere for recycling.

At all times we attempt to keep updated on and comply with applicable sections of Swedish environmental legislation as well as other relevant requirements. We also strive to reduce our use of finite resources and encourage our employees to take an active interest in the environment.
